INSURANCE APPRAISALSQUESTIONS

HOW OFTEN SHOULD
I UPDATE MY APPRAISAL?

Every 2-3 years, or after any major market shift in diamond or precious metal prices. An outdated appraisal means your insurance payout won't cover full replacement. We offer re-appraisals at a reduced rate for existing clients.

IS THE APPRAISAL VALUE
THE SAME AS RESALE VALUE?

No — insurance replacement value (retail replacement) is typically 2-3x higher than resale (what you'd get selling it). Insurance appraisals reflect what it costs to replace, not what it's worth on the market.
