Custom design at Bravo isn't a sales pitch — it's how we work best. Whether you have a rough idea, a Pinterest board, or an heirloom you want reimagined, we'll guide you through sketches, CAD renders, and a wax model before a single stone is set.

Most projects take 3-5 weeks. Pricing starts where stock pieces leave off — and you'll know the full quote before any work begins.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, no surprises.

1) Consultation: 45-60 minutes, in person or by video. We listen, sketch, and ask questions. 2) CAD render: high-resolution 3D images you can rotate and tweak. 3) Wax model: a physical print you can try on for fit and proportion. 4) Fabrication: our master jewelers cut, set, and finish by hand. You see and approve at every stage — no surprises at the end.

MATERIALS & METALS

Choose what fits your life and your budget.

Metal options: 14k yellow / white / rose gold — the daily-wear standard, durable and economical. 18k for a richer color and softer warmth. Platinum for the most durable, hypoallergenic option (and the heaviest). Palladium for a lighter platinum-color alternative. Center stones: natural diamonds (any 4C combination, certified), lab-grown diamonds (typically 30-60% less for the same look), sapphires (a tougher engagement-ring alternative), or moissanite (more brilliance than diamond, a fraction of the cost). Side stones: pavé melee, bezel-set accents, halo arrangements, or hidden-halo surprises. We'll match metals and stones to how you actually live.

TIMELINE

Three to five weeks, milestone by milestone.

Week 1: consultation, sketches, initial CAD render — we refine based on your feedback over a couple of revisions. Week 2: final CAD approval, deposit collected, fabrication begins. Week 3: wax model printed and tried on for fit. Week 4: casting, hand-finishing, polishing. Week 5: stone setting, final QC, photography for your records. Most projects are ready for pickup in 21-35 days. Pieces with sourced uncommon materials (a specific tone of unheated sapphire, a particular natural diamond cut) can extend by 1-2 weeks. We give you a target date in writing at deposit and update you weekly.

CUSTOM COST?

It depends entirely on materials. A simple solitaire in 14k gold can run $1,500-3,000; a halo in platinum with a 1.5ct natural center can run $10,000+. The design fee itself is rolled into the piece — no separate charge for sketches or CAD.

CAN I PROVIDE

Yes — we love that. Bring in a heirloom diamond or a stone you bought elsewhere and we'll build a setting around it. We'll inspect it for damage first and quote any cleaning or recutting if needed.

DO I OWN
THE CAD FILES?

Yes. After the project is complete you receive the final CAD render files and design notes. If you ever want a matching wedding band or a duplicate for an anniversary gift, we (or any qualified jeweler) can pick up exactly where we left off.

WHAT DEPOSIT
IS REQUIRED?

50% to start the work after final CAD approval, balance due on pickup. We accept payment plans and 0% APR financing for the full balance — see our financing page. The deposit is fully refundable until we begin fabrication.
